SOV private beta

BETA. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. SOV is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. It runs AI agents that execute commands, edit files and make network calls on your machine. Install it only on a machine, and with accounts, you can afford to lose. You are responsible for your AI vendor accounts, their terms of service, and every charge they bill you. Versions may change, break or lose data without notice. Do not use it for production, regulated or sensitive data. By installing, you accept these terms.

Not public. Please do not share this address. Linux and macOS, Python 3.12 or newer.

Install

curl -fsSL https://sov.works/beta/8b467bd3c431e9436c582f688720225a/install.sh | sh -s -- --profile native-v2

Options: --profile client|native-v2|full (default native-v2 for now; client is broken until F1 is fixed), --prefix DIR (default ~/.sov). It installs into your own folder, never uses sudo, and starts nothing. At the end it prints the exact PATH line and uninstall command for your prefix.

Verify first (recommended)

The checksums file lives on this same server, so it only detects corruption. To detect tampering, compare its own hash with this one, which the project owner also sends you separately:

curl -fsSL https://sov.works/beta/8b467bd3c431e9436c582f688720225a/SHA256SUMS | sha256sum
410c45fa0ff3c784f91f740f168dd37a18105530507560c02f380c4596b84ea2

What you get

sov-log 0.3.0 @ 58f63e6
sov-jobs 0.1.0 @ b13bf33 (schema 9; the release running on the SOV prod server)
built 2026-09-29

Known beta issues

Stage 2: SOV-AGENT

curl -fsSL https://sov.works/beta/8b467bd3c431e9436c582f688720225a/install-agent.sh | sh

Read agent/AGENT.md first: what it needs, where we expect it to break, and the test plan. Bundle contents and versions: agent/VERSION. Checksums hash of the agent list (compare with what the project owner sent you): 4c657fd6ff30dca9621a85d267d5aedd81707d752a8f1537b654d10421b6162c.

Keys

See KEYS.md. Names only.

Uninstall

Use the uninstall command the installer printed at the end: it names the exact folder you chose. If you kept the default prefix it is:

rm -rf -- "${HOME:?}/.sov"
